The EGCD is split in two parts, the RD (Research Database) and the CD (Computer Database). The RD contains information about European supercomputing centers, institutions, projects, research groups or people that work on grid computing or related topics. The main goal of the RD is to push European research activities on grid computing, which also yields to a strong interaction with the European Grid Forum (EGrid).
