JISC and STFC fund since 2004 the National Grid Service (NGS). The four core sites are the Universities of Manchester, Oxford and Leeds (White Rose Grid) and STFC-RAL. NGS partners sites are Cardiff University, Lancaster University, Queens University of Belfast, University of Glasgow Computing Service, University of Glasgow ScotGrid and University of Westminster. The HPCx consortium is also a partner of NGS. Affiliates sites include: Edinburgh Compute and Data Facility, Imperial College London, Keele University, University of Bristol, University Of Oxford Particle Physics Department, University of Reading and University Of Southampton.
