The Content Alliance, initiated in August 2000, was formed to foster interoperability of Content Delivery Networks (CDNs). While initiated by Cisco Systems, the Content Alliance is self-governing. The Content Alliance is open to any technology vendor, service provider, or content provider interested in supporting the development of open standards for the advancement of content networking. There does not seem to be much activity in this group.
