The GCE working group is a member of the Global Grid Forum (Global GF), which is a community-initiated forum of individual researchers and practitioners working on distributed computing, or "grid" technologies. The working group is aimed at contributing to the coherence and interoperability of frameworks, portals, Problem Solving Environments, other Grid-based computing environments and Grid services.
