"Almost two years ago we set out to develop a technology that would change the enterprise Java Grid computing landscape in much the same way Spring and JBoss have changed the JEE market through innovative design, streamline usability and focusing on a developer", stated Nikita Ivanov, founder of GridGain project.
Six months from the initial release GridGain 1.5 features new and improved functionality and class leading integration capabilities including integration with JBoss, Spring, Weblogic, Websphere, Coherence, GigaSpaces, Mule, JXinsight and others.
Nikita Ivanov went on to say: "Grid computing technology is almost never used alone. Integration with established Java-based middleware products such as JBoss and Spring Framework is essential for adoption of any Grid computing product and GridGain 1.5 boast probably the widest selection of compatible products in its class."
GridGain 1.5 is available for immediate download at http://www.gridgain.org/downloads.html. It requires Java 5 or higher and supports all major operating systems including Windows NT/2000/2003/XP/Vista, Linux, Mac OS X and major UNIX brands. GridGain is licensed under LGPL and can be used and modified in commercial environment with almost no restrictions. |
