The Academic and Educational Grid Initiative of Serbia (AEGIS) started in 2005. The contributors to the AEGIS infrastructure are the Institute of Physics in Belgrade (with 120 processors), Belgrade University (2 sites, one with 14 and one with 30 processors), University of Nis (5 processors) and University of Kragujevac (8 processors). AEGIS participates in SEE-GRID.
