CRO NGI is a common resource of the scientific and academic community and represents the fundamental infrastructure for the scientific research, the application of new technologies and the integration of Croatia and Croatian scientists into the European Research (ERA) and European Higher Education (EHEA) Area. The Coordinator of CRO NGI is the University Computing Centre (Sveučilište raãunski centar - Srce). The CRO NGI Board, appointed by the minister responsible for science, the Council of Partners and the Council of Users take part in the management. CRO NGI is financed as a separate unit in the State Budget of theRepublic of Croatia. Delegation of work and responsibilities are often not very well defined and hence is an error prone process than can lead to considerable costs. The goal of the BauVOGrid project is to increase the operationalibility of a real "Bau-VO" by applying a building-Grid. BauVOGrid will built an authentication and authorisation infrastructure on top of the basic D-Grid and combine this into a coherent management infrastructire for Virtual Organisation (VO) processes. All types of resoruces can be combined and presented in the office or at a construction site. Four key technologies are being integrated to achieve this result: D-Grid, Semantic Web, Process managemetn and mobile information management. Goal of the project is is to apply Grid technology to product development and to demonstrate usability for several application scenario's in the area of value creation chain and collaborative work.
